Breed Overview

The Sphynx is famous for being “hairless,” though they actually have a fine peach-fuzz covering their wrinkled skin. They feel like warm suede.

Temperament

Sphynx cats are the extroverts of the cat world. They are highly energetic, deeply affectionate, and hate being left alone. They will ride on your shoulders and sleep under your duvet.

Skincare & Heating

Because they lack fur to absorb body oils, they must be bathed every few weeks, and their ears must be cleaned frequently to remove waxy buildup. They get cold very easily and require heated beds and jumpers in the winter.
