Breed Overview

The Ragdoll is a large, pointed breed with stunning blue eyes. They derive their name from their tendency to go completely limp and relaxed when picked up.

Temperament

They are the quintessential lap cat. Ragdolls are deeply attached to their humans, often following them from room to room like a puppy. They are incredibly docile and rarely use their claws, making them ideal for indoor living.

Grooming

Despite having a semi-long coat, Ragdolls lack a dense undercoat, meaning they are less prone to severe matting than Persians. However, they still require brushing twice a week.
