Core Kitten Vaccines

Vaccinations protect kittens against Feline Infectious Enteritis (FIE), Feline Herpes Virus (FHV), and Feline Calicivirus (FCV) — the latter two cause “Cat Flu”.

The Schedule

  • 8-9 Weeks: First primary vaccination.
  • 12 Weeks: Second primary vaccination.
  • 1 Year: First annual booster.

Feline Leukaemia Virus (FeLV)

If your kitten will have outdoor access, the FeLV vaccine is highly recommended. It is usually given alongside the core vaccines at 8 and 12 weeks.
